This summer, my friend John opened his wardrobe to find that his favourite sneakers were damaged due to scuffs and sole yellowing.
It was a real shock for him to see his costly sneakers being wasted. However, he did not throw them away.

Step-By-Step Guide for Restoring Your Sneakers
Fixing scuffs and yellowing on your sneakers is possible at home. You can do it easily by following these easy steps:
Step 1: Make Your Sneakers and Workplace Ready
Start by removing the sneaker laces and insoles to wash them individually for a deep cleaning.
After that, insert an old newspaper inside the shoe body to maintain its shape. Next, use a soft brush or a cloth to remove loose dirt and debris.
Step 2: Clear Scuffs From the Sneaker
In the next step, remove the scuffs from your sneakers. There can be light scuffs, leather scuffs, or stubborn marks.
You can remove all by applying Premium Scuff Cover White by Eagle. You can use it by applying an even coating through the built-in sponge on the bottle.
Step 3: Fix Yellowing on the Sneakers
Now it's time to remove the yellowing from the sneakers. For this purpose, apply the Premium Shoe Whitener by Eagle on your sneaker soles and body using the attached sponge on the bottle. Wait for a few minutes and apply again if needed.
Step 4: Clean Laces and Insoles
Next, wash the laces and insoles separately.
For this, take both the laces and insoles and soak them in the warm water added with a detergent for 20-25 minutes. After that, rinse them and later on, air dry.

Step 5: Dry the Sneakers and Protect them
In the final step, take a microfiber cloth to absorb excess water from the sneakers. After that, air dry the sneakers at room temperature.
Next, apply a water-repellent spray to protect them from future moisture.
Note: Do not dry the sneakers in direct sunlight or with a dryer to avoid yellowing again.
Expert Tip: Using the Whitener & Scuff Cover Kit will make this entire journey smooth. Because it includes a scuff cover, white and shoe whitener, along with an attached applicator sponge.
Tips For Sneaker Restoration
Successful sneaker restoration is not a solo process. You need to follow these tips to make this process successful:
Working in Natural Light: Always work in natural light to increase restoration efficiency. It will help you to spot the scuffs and yellowing marks easily.
Patience is Necessary: Use the cleaning material gently with patience, and avoid over-supply it on the sneakers. It will ensure super performance with limited resources.
Clean after Every Wear: Prefer to clean your sneakers after every wear. It will avoid dirt build-up and yellowing.
Avoid Bleaching: Do not use bleach to clean your sneakers because it can damage the sneaker fibers and deteriorate their quality.
Conclusion
